Lots of EBEL action around Austrian holiday

On the Austrian National Day five games are scheduled in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. Eight teams are facing each other for the second time this season. Only the Vienna Capitals are challenging for the first time since four years Zagreb. On Friday three more games are scheduled. They are leading the statistics in powerplay and in penalty killing. Zagreb has the weakest efficiency of powerplays (11,1%). The Bulldogs won ten out of 13 home games against Fehervar. Fr, 27.10.2017, 19:45: HCB Südtirol Alperia - EC-KAC Referees: PIRAGIC, ZRNIC, Nothegger, Seewald Bozen recently won aginst Znojmo in overtime. KAC is on a two games winning streak. In the first duel the KAC booked a close home win. Manuel Ganahl scored in the past three games against Bozen (three goals, two assists). The trio of Bozen Petan, Smith (both 21 points) and Halmo (20 points) is closely behind the leage topscorer Yogan (HCI). The KAC has the weakest penalty killing of the league (73,6 %), in 53 shorthanded situations they received 14 goals.
