In the Qualification-Round Dornbirner EC hosts Moser Medical Graz99ers on Friday. In the year 2014 the Bulldogs won so far all four home-games, scoring 23 goals and got only five goals. “We want to continue this way. We play more compact and more defensive, than when the season started and we take advantage of our counter-chances“, knows forward Martin Grabher Meier, who scored in all eight games this year. Against the 99ers Dornbirn won so far this season three from four games. „The Styrians had a difficult time lately. But they still have a good team and that makes them dangerous. We must play compact, get many shots on their goalie and take advantage from our Power Play”, added the 30 years old forward, who is convinced from the first Play-off-Participation from Dornbirn: “When we continue to play the way we did lately, then we will make the Play-offs.” Dornbirn still misses Brett Sonne. After two defeats in the first two games in the Qualification-Round Moser Medical Graz99ers are the worst-placed team. Now an important weekend is ahead of the 99ers: Tomorrow Graz plays in Dornbirn and on Sunday the Styrians welcome leader EC-KAC. Forward Manuel Ganahl knows: “This weekend is our last chance to show, what we can. Either we're back in the fight for the Playoffs then or the season is more or less over for us." But lately the 99ers lost six games in a row and could not win in Dornbirn since September 2012. “Dornbirn has a good first line and plays good Power Play. We also do not play bad, but we do not score enough. The one or other Power Play goal would help us a lot”, added the 23-years old forward. So far this season the Styrians scored only 15 goals in 142 Power Plays. Ryan Kinasewich and Alexandre Picard (injured) are missing, Mario Scalzo is a questionmark.
