HCB Südtirol hosts EC VSV on Friday (19:45) and SAPA Fehervar AV19 24 hours later.

After four road games HCB Südtirol now expects EC VSV on Friday and only 24 hours later SAPA Fehervar AV19. With a 3:2-win in Ljubljana the Italians took over place 1 again on Sunday. While Bozen was able to score 30 goals in the first six games, now they couldn’t score that easy anymore and only produced 14 goals in the same time. For that reason the club also signed forward Ziga Pance. “The first place is good, but we can still improve our game. Ziga Pance will certainly help us. He's a good player. But we all also need to work harder for the victory. In the next game we all will give 110 percent again and show our fans that we are a good team", said forward Kim Strömberg.

Villach continues their road trip on Friday in Bozen. On Sunday the Eagles lost with a 2:4-defeat in Szekesfehervar also their leading-position. It was already the third lost in a row on the road for the Eagles. While Villach’s offense is with 47 goals the best in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga, the Eagles on the other side catched already 39 goals. “We have to play more compact in our defense and act as a unit. All players on the ice - not just two - have to make defense work. We also practiced this in the last days. Everybody just can expect the game in Bozen. The first match against them in Villach was really great. We must play the same way, than it works with two points again”, knows Captain Gerhard Unterluggauer. Forward Marco Pewal should make his comeback. Scott Hotham is out for the contest, while Cole Jarrett is a question-mark.
