The sharks from Innsbruck are still on a home run. The Tyroleans had to fall behind 0:2 against Graz to wake up, but managed to get the turnaround and celebrate their fourth consecutive home win. Moser Medical Graz99ers had to do without some of their defenders in Innsbruck that’s why they played very offensively-minded. Ryan Kinasewich scored the only goal in the opening period on power play and the Styrians also had a perfect start into the middle frame when Manuel Ganahl doubled the lead off a great by Kevin Moderer. Just a few moments later the host had a two man advantage and veteran Marek Malik pulled one back with a nice shot into the short side of the net. Soon after both teams missed good opportunities and after the restart the sharks turned the game around. First Stefan Pittl banged home a rebound and then Tyler Donati put his side 3:2 up with a nice deke. However, they could not use another power play and as a result Graz tied it at even strength when Olivier Latendresse scored on a wraparound. The game went into overtime after Alexandre Picard just hit the post in a final rush. With no goals in the extra session, Tyler Donati kept his nerves in the shootout the give his team the fourth consecutive win at home. HC TWK Innsbruck „die Haie“ – Moser Medical Graz99ers 4:3 n.P.
