Sonntag, 02.März 2014 - 9:36 - Although EC Red Bull Salzburg was already two goals behind on Friday at Bozen, the team of Coach Don Jackson managed to win 3:2 in overtime. The Bulls will end the Intemdiate Round as the leader and will have the first choice at the Live-Pick (21:15 on ServusTV).

“We have reached our first goal, but we also want to win versus VSV on Sunday”, said Florian Mühlstein who doesn’t prefer any team for the quarterfinals: “We won against each team during the season, no matter who will be our opponent, we will be ready for the playoffs.” Also forward Andreas Nödl won‘t go easy on Sunday: „We will give 100% versus Villach. We are all professionals and we want to give our fans another win.”

On the other side EC VSV is still fighting for the fourth place on Sunday, Znojmo is just one point ahead. “The fourth place is very important for us. We will give our best and after the game we will see i fit was enough“ said Alexander Rauchenwald, who doesn’t believe that Salzburg is taking the game easy: Salzburg will treat the game as it was already an playoff game, I am sure they won’t take a rest.”

After his one game suspension defender Gerhard Unterluggauer will be back in the lineup on Sunday, further on there won’t be any changes by Coach Hannu Järvenpää.
