Freitag, 08.Januar 2016 - 7:58 - Fehervar AV19 presented today Hannu Järvenpää as their new Headcoach.

Fehérvár AV19's management terminated today the contract of head coach Rob Pallin and Hannu Järvenpää takes over the head coaching duties. The Finn coached already from 2009 to 2012 HDD Telemach Olimpija Ljubljana and then EC VSV until November 2015 in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga.

"We made our decision because we believe that there are still reserves in the performance of the team. Our results until now are the joint responsibility of the management, the coaches and the players. Rob Pallin did an excellent job in Fehérvár and in the current season various circumstances made his job difficult. We believe that we need new impulses for the remaining part of the regular season and the intermediary round, as well as for the play-offs. We hope that with the new head coach we will reach our goal of a play-off spot", explained the reasons behind the change general manager Gábor Ocskay.

Fehérvár AV19 wishes the departing Rob Pallin further sport successes. Hannu Järvenpää arrives in Székesfehérvár this weekend and will overtake the job next week. For the weekend-games against Bozen (Sat) and Dornbirner EC (Sun) Tamas Sille and Frank Banham will be the responsable coaches.

Fehervar AV19 is after Graz, Villach, Klagenfurt and Innsbruck already the fifth club 2015/16, that changed it's Headcoach.
